A month of restaurant social media, planned in an hour
A repeatable content calendar that fills a feed without a full-time marketer.
The problem with 'post when you can'
Feeds go quiet because nobody decided what Tuesday's post was. A calendar removes the decision: every week has the same shape, and you only fill in the specifics. One hour at the start of the month and a few phone clips during service are enough.
The weekly shape
- Monday — the dish. One plate, shot in daylight by the window. Caption: what's in it, who makes it.
- Wednesday — behind the scenes. A 10-second clip from the kitchen or bar. Reels get reach; polish doesn't matter, motion does.
- Friday — the reason to come this weekend. Special, event, live music, patio weather.
- Sunday — the people. A regular, a staff member, a review screenshot (with permission).
Shoot in batches
Pick one hour before service, once a week. Shoot four plates, two clips of the kitchen, one of the dining room filling up, one of a staff member doing something. That's two weeks of content. Vertical, natural light, no zoom.
Captions and hashtags
First line does the work — it's what shows before “more”. Say the specific thing: “The short rib is back on the menu through Sunday.” Five to eight hashtags: your city, your neighborhood, your cuisine, and two about the dish. Skip #foodporn-style tags with millions of posts.
Reply to everything
Comments and DMs are reservations waiting to happen. Reply the same day, in a human voice. Pin the best comment. Repost customers' stories that tag you.
Post the same things to Google
Your Friday “reason to come” post belongs on your Google Business Profile too, where people searching “dinner near me” will actually see it. One extra tap.
Social media management from $399/mo: a calendar you approve, posts designed in your brand, and replies handled.
